Women’s Earth Alliance (WEA) partners with grassroots organizations internationally to holistically build the capacities of women leaders who are addressing acute environmental and climate challenges in their communities. Rooted in a rights-based approach, WEA invests in women-led, community-driven solutions by connecting grassroots women leaders with financial resources, training, advocacy and peer support. WEA seeks to raise awareness on the key role rural women play in promoting food security, building the resilience of their communities in the face of climate change, and sustainably stewarding their land. WEA believes that it is necessary to uplift the leadership, traditional knowledge systems, and unique priorities of women in order to resolve major challenges facing communities and the planet.
